Adam Maltese is a professor at Indiana University’s School of Education, where he explores how students connect with science, from childhood through graduate school. With a background in geology and a passion for hands-on learning, his work focuses on making STEM education more engaging, meaningful, and accessible. He teaches future science teachers, leads seminars on STEM teaching for graduate students, and studies how experiences like “making” can spark lasting interest in STEM. His mission is to bridge the gap between research and real-world classrooms to inspire the next generation of STEM professionals and educators.
