Английский разговорный клуб: Favorite Books and Authors

Hi guys!

At our first meeting this year we'll be talking about books and favorite authors and play a literature-themed Jeopardy! game (similar to Svoya igra). I'll send you a word list before the meeting. If you'd like some extra practice beforehand you can prepare a 2-3 min talk speech about your favorite book or author!

This club is led by Lisa Levina, an English tutor with a PhD in Literature, so expect deep, meaningful conversations. Our club is attended by journalists, teachers, entrepreneurs and cool people of all sorts. Feel free to join Lisa's channel t.me/california_fresh for tips on learning English!

As always, we are meeting at the super cozy Ex Libris cafe (Bobrov pereulok 6/1), just a few minutes away from Chistye Prudy metro station. We start at 7 pm and finish at 8:30 pm, sometimes later if the conversation is especially fun!
